EQUIPMENT DETAILS:
FELLOWSHIP is in
excellent condition! This Vagabond 42 has been lathered in TLC and it shows
everywhere in this fine vessel. If you are looking for a yacht to cruise the
world, this is it. This yacht is current, well maintained and is out there
fulfilling that dream cruise with a full time live aboard couple. Due to medical developments,
they are forced to leave this magnificent lifestyle and return to land.
FELLOWSHIP is truly ready for you to
step
aboard with your personal gear and take off to realize your dreams.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
As you step below you first notice how warm and
inviting the main saloon is and you realize that this yacht is fresh and clean. The
cushions and pillows on the settee and dinette are in excellent condition along
with all of the fabrics on this boat. A large mirror on the main bulkhead opens
up the cabin for a feeling of more open space. There is a large freezer refrigerator to port and a
chart table to starboard. This navigation station provides a sit down chart table/desk from which to manage the boat.
Forward there is a full private cabin with 2
berths. The upper pulls out for a small double and the lower provides an extra
single. There is also a hanging locker and lots
of storage under the berth. There is good access to a large well lighted
forepeak. Across from this cabin is a full head with shower and plenty of
storage.
Looking aft over the gleaming new interior floors
through the saloon is the starboard walkthru to the aft cabin. It is a private
quarter cabin with a pull out double and LOTS of stowage. Opposite the berth is
engine access. Opening the access door you find a gleaming refurbished Yanmar
diesel with 13 horse power more that the original and plenty of lighting. Engine
service and filter changes are simple and the bilges are clean.
Further aft you enter the master cabin with a full size
double bed, a real mattress, and a beautiful view aft out of the stern windows. There is a
head to port with a shower for the owner's cabin. This makes it a fully enclosable private
suite to escape to. Something you notice walking though this yacht is the
privacy, each cabin has its own access to the main areas. There are many custom
features that knowledgeable owners have added as they have
cruised and lived aboard. This is a very nice cruising yacht and a must see.
GALLEY AND SALOON:
The galley is located on the port side amidships in
the walkthrough and has good ventilation from 4 opening ports. It is an
efficient work space and safe in sea conditions. There is more stowage space than
can be found in some larger boats and nice dedicated counter space and pull out
cutting board which keeps the ice box top available while preparing food. The ice
box has additional insulation and contains a freezer section. It is located forward
of the galley and provides a great place for a dry bar at cocktail time. There is
a custom sink with pressure fresh hot and cold water, filtered water and salt
water, a Force 10 3 burner propane stove with oven and broiler. There are 3 ten pound propane bottles for cooking and a rail mounted BBQ grill to complete
cooking package.
